Safety use of stainless steel deep well submersible pump
1. Disable the power supply voltage to turn on abnormally
Because the low-voltage power supply lines are relatively long, it is common for the end voltage of the line to be too low. When the phase voltage
is lower than 198 volts and the line voltage is lower than 342 volts, the speed of the submersible pump motor drops. When it does not reach 70%
of the rated speed, the start centrifugal switch will be closed, causing the start winding to be powered on for a long time and heat or even burn out.
Windings and capacitors. On the contrary, excessive voltage causes the motor to overheat and burn out the winding. Therefore, during operation of
submersible pumps, the operator must observe the power supply voltage value at any time. If it is below 10% of the rated voltage and above 10% of
the rated voltage, the motor should be stopped, find out the cause and troubleshoot.
2. Confirm the correct rotation direction of the motor
The rotation direction of the motor should be clarified. Now there are many types of high-head submersible pumps that can emit water when forward
and reverse, but the water output is small and the current is large during reverse. The long reversal time will damage the motor winding.
3. Insulation resistance requirements for cable installation and submersible pump
When installing a submersible pump, the cables should be overhead and the power cord should not be too long. Do not put the cable under stress when
the submersible pump is drained or raised to avoid breaking the power cord. Do not sink into mud when the submersible pump is working, otherwise it
will cause poor heat dissipation of the motor and burn the motor windings. During installation, the insulation resistance of the motor should not be less
than 0.5 megohm.
4. Avoid frequent switches
Do not switch the submersible pump frequently, because the electric pump will cause backflow when it stops. If the power is turned on immediately, the
motor load will start, causing the starting current to burn out the winding. Due to the large current during startup, frequent startup will also burn out the
motor winding of the submersible pump.
5. Installation of leakage protector
A leakage protector is also called a life-saving device. Its function can be understood from the three words "life-saving device". Because the submersible
pump works underwater, it is easy to leak electricity, causing electrical energy loss and even causing electric shock accidents. If a leakage protector is installed,
as long as the leakage value of the submersible pump exceeds the operating current value of the leakage protector (generally not more than 30 mA), the
leakage protector will cut off the power of the submersible pump to ensure safety, while avoiding leakage and waste of electricity.
6. Prohibit the long-term overload of submersible pumps
To avoid overloading of the submersible pump for a long time, do not pump water with large sand content and observe whether the current value is at the
specified value on the nameplate at any time. If the current is found to be too large, the machine should be shut down for inspection. In addition, the dehydration
and operation time of the electric pump should not be too long to avoid overheating and burning.
7. Pay attention to daily maintenance
Check the motor more often. If you find cracks in the lower cover, damage or failure of the rubber sealing ring, etc., it should be replaced or repaired in time to
prevent water from seeping into the machine.
8. Try to avoid turning on the machine at low pressure
The power supply voltage and the rated voltage cannot be 10%. If the voltage is too high, the motor will overheat and burn the winding. If the voltage is too low,
the motor speed will drop. If it does not reach 70% of the rated speed, the starting centrifugal switch will be closed, causing the starting winding to be started.
Long-term power-on will cause heat and even burn out the windings and capacitors. Shanghai Speed Energy Pump Valve Tips: Do not switch the motor frequently,
because the electric pump will cause backflow when it stops. If the motor is turned on immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in too large starting current
and burning the winding.
