How to maintain submersible sewage pumps

1. After each use of the submersible sewage pump, especially for thicker and more sticky slurry, the electric pump should be placed in clean water and run for several minutes to prevent sediment from leaving in the pump and ensure the cleanliness of the electric pump.

2. If the electric pump is not in use for a long time, do not soak it in water for a long time, so as to reduce the chance of the motor stator winding getting damp and increase the service life of the electric pump.

3. A dedicated person should manage and use it, and regularly check whether the insulation resistance between the electric pump winding and the casing is normal.

4. The sealing ring between the impeller of the submersible sewage pump and the pump body has a sealing function. If the sealing ring is damaged, it will directly affect the performance of the pump and should be replaced if necessary.

5. After disassembly and repair, the housing assembly must be inspected by 0.2MPa airtight test to ensure reliable sealing of the motor.

6. Under normal conditions, the submersible sewage pump should be filled or replaced after every 300-500 hours of use of the pump in the oil chamber (machine oil No. 10-30) to maintain a good lubricating state of the mechanical seal and improve the service life of the mechanical seal.
