Plastic pneumatic diaphragm pump: a versatile hand that is corrosion-resistant and safely conveyed


The plastic pneumatic diaphragm pump uses compressed air as the power source. 

The pump body is made of engineering plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyvinylidene 

fluoride (PVDF) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It has three core advantages: corrosion 

resistance, inherent safety and strong adaptability. It has become the first choice for special

 working conditions such as chemical industry, environmental protection, and food.


1. Core applicable scenarios

Strongly corrosive medium conveying

Plastic materials (especially PVDF/PTFE) can withstand corrosive liquids such as strong acids

 (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), strong alkalis, organic solvents and electroplating 

solutions. They are widely used in chemical production, electroplating production lines, 

wastewater treatment and dosing systems, and environmentally friendly hazardous waste

 transportation. The key to selection is to match the material according to the corrosion of

 the medium (such as concentrated nitric acid requires PTFE).


Flammable and explosive hazardous environment

The pneumatic drive has no electric sparks, which meets the explosion-proof requirements 

of petrochemicals, paint spraying, oil depots and dust explosion sites, and can safely transport 

hazardous materials such as solvents, oil products, combustible gases and other hazardous materials.


Complex fluid treatment


Solid-containing fluid: can transport ore slurry, ceramic slurry, sewage sludge and other 

particulate slurry (particle particle size must be within the allowable range of the pump);


High viscosity fluid: suitable for coatings, jams, cement slurries, etc., but the higher the

 viscosity, the more significant the flow attenuation;


Shear-sensitive fluid: Low shear design protects the structural integrity of the emulsion and flocculate.


Intermittent operation and self-priming requirements

It has the ability to operate without self-damage, and the self-priming height can reach 3-5 

meters. It is suitable for tank emptying, liquid level fluctuation and suction, and frequent 

start and stop working conditions.


Sanitary grade application

Food-grade PP/PVDF materials are easy to clean and anti-pollution, and are used in hygienic 

sensitive fields such as beverages, edible oils, pharmaceutical intermediates, etc.


Mobile portable scene

The structure is lightweight and requires only gas source connection, and is suitable for 

equipment maintenance, emergency drainage and temporary projects.
