Application cases of large flow channel non-blocking spiral centrifugal pump
Large flow channel non-blocking spiral centrifugal pump transports industrial oil products
A manufacturer in the UK required precise mixing and gentle handling of lubricants, a process critical to all types of industrial processes.
Process: 220cPs anti-foam additive lubricant is transferred from tank to tank.
Problem: A series of centrifugal pumps, each equipped with a 4kW motor, were being used to deliver a 220CPs anti-foam additive lubricant mixture to and from a tank. The viscosity is too high for a closed impeller, requiring an oversized pump, resulting in high energy consumption and frequently scheduled pumping maintenance intervals.
Solution: After the pump proved it could pump the lubricant mixture while consuming only 1.25kW, a 70% reduction in energy consumption, the customer installed a further seven pumps.
Large flow channel non-blocking spiral centrifugal pump transports malt
A Bavarian brewery produces malt, an extremely difficult medium to pump.
Process: Malt is pumped at 120-130myh, with a lift of 100mh. 10-12mwCe
Problem: The customer previously used a semi-open vortex impeller pump. After operation, the solid content of the malt solution changed, resulting in clogging problems and the pump could not be restarted. This requires the pump body and pipeline to be opened and cleaned at the same time.
Solution: A large flow channel non-clogging spiral centrifugal pump close-coupled pump was installed. There were no problems in operation. The customer was satisfied and ordered 4 more units.
