Submersible sewage pump extends its applicable life and maintains maintenance
Submersible sewage pump extends its applicable life and maintenance:
Now the most faulty submersible sewage pump is the motor burned out, and the biggest reason for the motor burning out is the
problem of blockage of the submersible sewage pump. So how to extend the service life of the submersible sewage pump? Also,
how to maintain the submersible sewage pump? Today, Dingfei Pump Industry will take you to understand the causes of these
problems and how to maintain them.
To solve this problem, it is necessary to cut the debris and long fibers sucked in by the submersible sewage pump and discharge
them, and then drain the sewage sand and water together. This not only extends the service life of the submersible sewage pump,
but also creates conditions for speeding up the construction speed of municipal projects. There is also a stirring electric pump, which
has a slightly different function from cutting. It is equipped with a stirring mechanism attachment. When water is pumped to the bottom
layer, the underwater silt or sediment reaches a certain concentration ratio and is uneven, and the water is sucked in and stuck by the thick
silt without draining. This first requires stirring them evenly and diluting them into thin silt, so that it will not easily damage the electric
pump when it is shot out. In addition, in order to maintain the balance of the axial force of the main impeller, a secondary impeller structure
must be installed, which can reduce the pressure of the sealing chamber and greatly improve the axial force of the electric pump and the life
of the mechanical seal.
So what aspects should be paid attention to when maintaining submersible sewage pumps?
1. Confirm the correct rotation direction of the motor
The rotation direction of the motor should be clarified. Nowadays, many types of submersible pumps can emit water when forward and reverse,
but the water output is small and the current is large. The long reversal time will damage the motor winding.
2. Insulation resistance requirements for cable installation and submersible sewage pump
When installing a submersible sewage pump, the cables should be overhead and the power cord should not be too long. Do not put the cable
under stress when the submersible pump is drained or raised to avoid breaking the power cord. Do not sink into mud when the submersible sewage
pump is working, otherwise it will cause poor heat dissipation of the motor and burn the motor windings. During installation, the insulation resistance
of the motor should not be less than 0.5 megohm.
3. Disable the power supply voltage to turn on abnormally
Because the low-voltage power supply lines are relatively long, it is common for the end voltage of the line to be too low. When the phase voltage is
lower than 198 volts and the three-phase voltage is lower than 342 volts, the speed of the submersible pump motor drops. When it does not reach 70%
of the rated speed, the start centrifugal switch will be closed, causing the start winding to be powered on for a long time and heat up or even burn down
the winding and capacitors. On the contrary, excessive voltage causes the motor to overheat and burn out the winding. Therefore, during operation of
submersible sewage pumps, the operator must observe the power supply voltage value at any time. If it is below 10% of the rated voltage and above 10%
of the rated voltage, the motor should be stopped, find out the cause and troubleshoot.
4. Avoid frequent switches
Do not switch the submersible sewage pump frequently, because the electric pump will cause backflow when it stops. If it is turned on immediately,
the motor load will start, resulting in too much starting current and burning the winding. Due to the large current during startup, frequent startup will
also burn out the motor winding of the submersible pump.
5. Don’t let the submersible sewage pump overload for a long time
To avoid overloading of the submersible sewage pump for a long time, do not pump water with large sand content and observe whether the current
value is at the specified value on the nameplate at any time. If the current is found to be too large, the machine should be shut down for inspection. In
addition, the dehydration and operation time of the electric pump should not be too long to avoid overheating and burning.
6. Installation of leakage protector
A leakage protector is also called a life-saving device. Its function can be understood from the three words "life-saving device". Because the submersible
sewage pump works underwater, it is easy to leak electricity, causing electricity loss and even causing electric shock accidents. If a leakage protector is
installed, as long as the leakage value of the submersible pump exceeds the operating current value of the leakage protector (generally not more than 30 mA),
the leakage protector will cut off the power of the submersible pump to ensure safety, while avoiding leakage and waste of electricity.
7. Pay attention to daily maintenance
Check the motor frequently. If you find cracks in the lower cover, damage or failure of the rubber sealing ring, etc., it should be replaced or repaired in time
to prevent water from seeping into the submersible pump.
Today I will share these with you, hoping that they will be helpful to you in the process of using submersible sewage pumps. If you have any questions,
